The knitted upper has been specifically designed to adapt to your foot's movement without sacrificing performance. Not only does the knit upper work to provide a contemporary look and superior comfort but, it also works to increase ventilation to keep you cool. The knitted construction allows air to flow throughout the construction to reduce an uncomfortable heat build-up; this creates a perfect micro-climate for your feet to thrive in. The sock-like fit ensures complete comfort for all-day wear by reducing the risks of chafing and irritation. <p> The Escalante 3 uses extremely responsive and high-performing EVA through the midsole construction of these shoes, which provides the foot with supreme cushioning and rebound. Using Altra EGO the shoe's foam midsole has been designed to provide added energy return and a responsive, yet soft, comfortable feel. The shoes have a Balanced Cushioning platform inside these shoes, to ensure your heel and forefoot are at an equal distance from the ground, encouraging better alignment, and further ensuring you remain comfortable. Ensuring your feet are able to sit more naturally, the shoes have a FootShape comfort.
